New York State Journal of Medicine (1983-1985)

Following his time in Australia at the Medical Journal of Australia, Dr. Blum returned to America. Back in his home state of New York Dr. Blum became the editor of the State's Medical Journal and began crafting theme issues on smoking and health. In December of 1983, the first theme issue debuted followed in the July of 1985 by the second. However, Dr. Blum was again controversially forced out in the wake of the issues' successes and returned to his roots as a physician and an activist.
