Description
Begining in the 1990s several plantiffs began to sue the tobacco industry for negilgence and casuing debilitating illness and death. These lawsuits expanded to concern State's Attorney Generals and eventually the Tobacco Industry was ordered to pay a record sum of damages to a Master Settlement Fund.
